Non-Productivity Linked Bonus 2025: 30 Days Ad-hoc Bonus for Central Government Employees
New Delhi, 29 September 2025: The Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, has issued an official order sanctioning the payment of Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc Bonus) equivalent to 30 days’ emoluments for the accounting year 2024-25.

Who Will Get the Bonus?
The bonus is applicable to:
- All Central Government employees in Group ‘C’
- All non-gazetted employees in Group ‘B’
- Eligible personnel of the Armed Forces and Para Military Forces
- Employees of Union Territory Administrations following Central Government pay structure
Calculation Ceiling
The calculation ceiling for the Ad-hoc Bonus is fixed at Rs. 7000 per month. Based on this ceiling, the bonus for 30 days works out to Rs. 6908 (rounded off).
Eligibility Criteria
- Employees must have been in service as on 31.03.2025.
- At least six months of continuous service during 2024-25 is mandatory.
- Pro-rata payment is admissible for employees with service between six months to one year.
