The e-Engagement Roll is the official digital service record for every Gramin Dak Sevak. It will be maintained by the respective Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) and will digitally capture major service-related details throughout the employee’s engagement period.

Preparation of Initial e-Engagement Records

Divisions must upload verified data and documents and complete at least 15% of GDS service records every month so that all records are digitized within six months.

Roll-Out Schedule Across India Post

The e-Engagement Roll will be implemented in all Postal Circles from 01 April 2026. CEPT will provide detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and User Manuals to ensure smooth deployment.

Responsibilities of Postal Circles & Divisions

  • Ensure 100% record digitization and verification
  • Forward verified records to the DDO
  • Complete updates for existing GDS before 31 March 2026
