GDS Compassionate Engagement 2026: Pan-India Half-Yearly CCE Cycle Introduced
The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has issued an important official order introducing a Pan-India notification and half-yearly Compassionate Engagement (CCE) cycle for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) compassionate appointments. The entire compassionate engagement process will be handled through the CCE Portal under IT 2.0, developed by CEPT, Mysuru. Circles have been directed to:
- ✔ Clear all pending cases on the existing portal by 31-05-2026
- ✔ Transfer eligible pending cases to the new Pan-India schedule
- ✔ Ensure fresh cases from 01-04-2026 are processed under the new system
This ensures a fully digital and accountable workflow.
