Non-Productivity Linked Bonus 2025: 30 Days Ad-hoc Bonus for Central Government Employees<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

New Delhi, 29 September 2025:<\/strong> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, has issued an official order sanctioning the payment of Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc Bonus)<\/strong> equivalent to 30 days\u2019 emoluments<\/strong> for the accounting year 2024-25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Will Get the Bonus?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The bonus is applicable to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • All Central Government employees in Group \u2018C\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All non-gazetted employees in Group \u2018B\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Eligible personnel of the Armed Forces<\/strong> and Para Military Forces<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Employees of Union Territory Administrations following Central Government pay structure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Calculation Ceiling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The calculation ceiling for the Ad-hoc Bonus is fixed at Rs. 7000 per month<\/strong>. Based on this ceiling, the bonus for 30 days works out to Rs. 6908<\/strong> (rounded off).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Employees must have been in service as on 31.03.2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • At least six months of continuous service<\/strong> during 2024-25 is mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Pro-rata payment is admissible for employees with service between six months to one year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Official Order Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The Office Memorandum (OM) issued under file number F. No. 7\/24\/2007\/E III (A)<\/strong> dated 29.09.2025 confirms the sanction of the President for this bonus. The scheme benefits employees not covered under any Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
